As owner and coach, Roger builds the club every day, mostly behind the scenes. He ensures structure and continuity through planning, communication and events, and keeps the club running smoothly. He also personally leads the Kids classes and supports the coaching team wherever needed, with the goal of a high-quality, close-knit club.
As a coach and owner, Wouter can usually be found somewhere among the weights. That's where he feels most at home. His mission? To help as many people as possible become their fittest, strongest and healthiest selves.
Besides the CrossFit classes, he is also available for nutrition coaching and personal training. For him, one thing is clear: movement is essential for everyone. That's why he gladly leads our 55+ classes.
Wouter studied Physical Education and Movement Recreation and has never stopped learning since. Driven by his passion for CrossFit, he earned his Level 1 and Level 2 trainer certificates, completed a gymnastics course and finished his personal trainer training at the National Academy of Sports Medicine.
As owner and coach, Koren combines on-the-floor coaching with support behind the scenes. She is the regular face on Mondays and sets the tone for the week from the get-go. With her CrossFit Level 1 and infectious energy, she knows how to motivate people and get the best out of them.
As the founder of CrossFit Lier, Raf laid the groundwork for the club in 2014. Today he has handed over day-to-day operations but remains actively involved as a coach. With more than 15 years of experience across a wide range of sports and a strong educational background, he brings knowledge and structure to every training. His warm, genuine personality makes members feel at home from day one.
Sam is a coach and has been part of the club for many years. He is a regular face at the Early Bird open gym, helping members wherever needed. His calm, clear coaching style makes him especially good at guiding new members.
Troy is a coach and one of the regular HYROX coaches at the club. As an active triathlete and HYROX performer, he brings valuable hands-on experience to every session. He combines this with his work as a physical education teacher and a broad sports education background. With his background and experience, he delivers structured, goal-oriented and high-quality coaching.
Jeffrey is a coach and a physiotherapist in training. He is the regular face of the core training on Thursday evenings and supports the coaching team wherever needed. With his CrossFit Level 1 certification and background in physiotherapy, he provides focused, well-considered guidance.
Chris is the regular face on Tuesday mornings and brings plenty of CrossFit experience with him from the United States. He is known for structured, clear coaching. He also uses the office in the club as his workspace, so you'll often see him around outside of class hours too.
Dana is the regular Thursday morning coach and a true female powerhouse. As an endurance athlete and early bird, she has often finished her running session before the sun even comes up. Her infectious energy and open personality set the tone for a strong start to the day and a great atmosphere in the club.

Kim has been a familiar face at the club for years and recently took the step to become a coach. He is eager to deepen his coaching skills and steps in whenever needed. His enthusiasm and commitment make him a strong addition to the team.

Vincent has been active in CrossFit for many years, starting his journey in 2013. With a background in biomedical sciences and additional certifications in Olympic weightlifting and gymnastics, he brings a strong combination of knowledge and hands-on experience. His interest in technique and movement translates into focused, thoughtful coaching on the floor.

Thomas is a coach and one of the HYROX coaches at the club. He built his knowledge through years of hands-on experience in the sport, with triathlon as his greatest passion. That background brings a strong focus on endurance and perseverance to his training sessions.
Vincent is an all-round athlete with a background in judo, MMA and swimming. In 2023 he discovered his passion for CrossFit, where he feels most at home in high-skill gymnastics workouts and heavy strength classes.
With his contagious energy and strong winner's mentality, he motivates members to always get the best out of themselves.
